The Greg Turley Bursary Awards

 

Greg Turley was a special unique individual who contributed so much to the lives of others; so much so, that this Fund was established as a way of perpetuating his memory, and of continuing his work of helping others in a practical way.

What kinds of initiative will the Fund Support?

The Fund will assist young people via bursary award. The Fund is particularly interested in supporting talented individuals to develop their skills or interests in one of the following areas:

  • COMMUNITY SERVICE
  • SPORT 
  • MUSIC AND DRAMA 

How Does the Scheme Work?

The Fund will accept applications from Individuals or Groups;

The applicants must be between 11 and 18 years of age and either residents in Fermanagh or in full time education in Fermanagh;

Those receiving bursary awards will receive a one-off payment paid directly by the Fund;

The Administrators meet twice annually in October and March of each year;

The Fund will award a maximum of 5 awards per annum;

Priority will be given to those who in the opinion of the Administrators are in the greatest need of support;

The decision of the Administrators is final.

  • Name, date of birth, address and telephone number. 
  • Enclose two testimonials/ references. 
  • Description of the initiative you wish to receive a bursary for, including; the aims and objectives of what it is you want to achieve; details of what is involved; timescales; cost and how much is requested.
