News » Young People receive Greg Turley Bursary Awards

Promising young motorcyclist, Josh Elliott, four times Irish National Minimoto Champion and now competing all over Europe in the ‘Red Bull Rookies’ Moto GP Cup, which is part of the world championship, received an award to help with travel costs.

Talented Collegiate student Nadine Gilmore, who has already shown her talent on the stage and on television, received an award to support her participation in Youth Music Theatre UK in Scotland this summer.

Kieran Leonard a student at St Michaels College and a member of the Ulster Youth Orchestra received a bursary to support his participation in the World Youth Classical Festival in Berlin.

Caolan McBrien, three times Irish titleholder and six Ulster gold medals received a bursary to support his ongoing development in Athletics at a national level. ‘We are delighted to support Josh, Nadine, Kiernan and Caolan with these awards. They are all fantastic young people, great ambassadors for County Fermanagh and we are delighted we can support each of them with a Greg Turley Bursary Award,’ outlined Kathleen Richey on behalf of the Greg Turley Awards Scheme.
